今天凌晨，美国计算机协会 ACM（Association for Computing Machinery）公布了最新一届会士名单。

ACM 创立于 1947 年，是全世界计算机领域影响力最大的专业学术组织之一。

ACM Fellow 是由该组织授予资深会员的荣誉，目的为表彰会员中对于计算机相关领域贡献前 1% 的学者，其审查过程十分严格，每年遴选一次，研究员由同行提名，提名由委员会审查。

本年度新入选科学家中共有 57 人，他们的贡献涉及网络安全、人机交互、移动计算和推荐系统等领域。今年的入选者中包括 13 名华人学者，他们来自北京大学、腾讯、字节跳动等机构和公司。

• 邢波曾任卡耐基梅隆大学计算机科学学院教授，机器学习系副主任，专攻机器学习、计算生物学和统计方法等方向。他与合作者开发了 Petuum 平台利用工作站、分布式计算机、移动设备或嵌入式设备来解决大型机器学习的问题。2016 年 11 月，邢波创立 Petuum 公司，担任 CEO 和首席科学家。2020 年 11 月，邢波成为全球第一所人工智能大学 MBZUAI 校长。

• 入选理由：在语音处理和深度学习应用方面的贡献。
• 俞栋，腾讯杰出科学家，腾讯 AI Lab 副主任，腾讯优图实验室杰出科学家兼腾讯智能平台部副总经理。IEEE Fellow（国际电气电子工程师学会院士）、ISCA Fellow。俞博士是语音识别与深度学习领域的专家，100 项专利的发明人，多次获得最佳论文奖，深度学习开源软件 CNTK 的发起人和主要作者之一，引领了语音技术领域多项突破性工作，是首次将深度学习技术应用在语音识别领域的研究领头人之一，该成果极大推动了语音识别的技术发展。

• 俞益洲

• 香港大学计算机科学系教授
• 入选理由：对计算机图形学和计算机视觉的贡献
• 俞益洲是香港大学计算机科学系的全职教授。他博士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，曾在伊利诺伊大学香槟分校（UIUC）担任 12 年终身教授。俞益洲目前是 IEEE 院士和 ACM 杰出会员。俞教授在人工智能和视觉计算方面做出了重要贡献，包括计算机图形学、计算机视觉、图像处理、医学图像分析和机器学习。他是 2002 年美国国家科学基金会 CAREER 奖、ACCV 2018 年最佳应用论文奖、ACM SCA 2011 年和 2005 年最佳论文奖以及 1998 年微软研究生奖学金的获得者。俞益洲与他人共同发明的技术经常被电影和医疗保健行业采用。他在 AAAI、CVPR、ICCV、MIA、NeurIPS、SIGGRAPH、TIP、TMI、TOG 和 TPAMI 等国际顶级会议和期刊上发表了 100 多篇论文。他目前的研究兴趣包括深度学习、计算机视觉、图像处理、医学人工智能和计算机图形学。

• Haitao (Heather) Zheng

• 芝加哥大学 Neubauer 计算机科学教授
• 入选理由：对无线网络和移动计算做出突出贡献。
• Haitao (Heather) Zheng 现为芝加哥大学 Neubauer 教授。她于 1999 年在马里兰大学获得电子和计算机工程博士学位。在 2017 年加入芝加哥大学之前，她在业界实验室（贝尔实验室和微软亚洲研究院）工作了 6 年，并在加州大学圣巴巴拉分校工作了 12 年。在芝加哥大学，她与 Ben Y. Zhao 教授共同领导 SAND 实验室（系统、算法、网络和数据方向）。
